CIRCLE
UPSIZE led the creative and executive production of the official Happy Hour (Sponsored by Circle) that closed the first day of Ethereum Rio, hosted on the panoramic rooftop of the Museu de Arte do Rio (MAR) — one of the city’s architectural gems, suspended above Praça Mauá with a view that merges Rio’s colonial heart with its futuristic skyline.
“It wasn’t just about closing the day. It was about creating an atmosphere that felt both global and deeply local — using architecture, light, sound, and energy to tell a story. Circle’s support gave us the canvas. UPSIZE brought the vision.” — explains Eduardo Cardoso, co-founder of UPSIZE
As Executive Producer and Creative Director, Eduardo integrated the museum’s signature undulating concrete canopy — designed by Bernardes + Jacobsen — into the visual identity of the event, using immersive lighting and sound design to accentuate the structure’s fluidity and openness.
The result was a unique ambient experience that welcomed 250+ guests into a moment of connection, creativity, and cultural immersion — reinforcing Ethereum Rio’s position as more than just a conference, and affirming UPSIZE’s role as a leading creative force in Web3 experiences.
Held from March 27–29, Ethereum Rio 2023 brought together over 1,500 attendees, including developers, researchers, founders, and policymakers from around the world. With more than 80 speakers and dozens of side events across the city, it solidified Brazil’s position as a growing hub for Ethereum and Web3 innovation in Latin America.
